Massage and bodywork teaches us to connect with our bodies and where we are holding things both physically and emotionally.
Regular massages are preventative, can relieve stress, detoxify, and be extremely therapeutic for a multitude of conditions. For general health maintenance, a bimonthly to monthly massage is really a great choice. Not only does it feel good but it allows you to become aware of areas that are tense or injured that you may have had no idea were strained or sensitive. This sort of prevention helps keep potential problems in check. Massage isn't just for special occasions, I find it to be an essential part of preventative health care programs. The massage I offer integrates basic Swedish techniques, Myofacial, Deep Tissue, Sports, but also integrates zen shiatsu, energy work, aromatherapy, tarot, hot stone massage, tuning forks therapy, marma point sequences, and flower essences. I am now offering Ayurvedic Bodywork Treatments. These treatments are used to help balance your constitution(dosha) and promote gentle detoxing, balancing and regulation. Services range from Shiro Dharas, Lepas, Bastis, Pinda Sveda, Marma Massage with tuning forks, gem stones, and Ubtans to name a few.
