Herbal Health Consultations and Holistic Massage and Bodywork are offered at 2 convenient central locations in Myo Massage located at the Triangle(45th and Guadalupe) and on the East Side at 5th and Comal. I am also available for house calls. If you are disabled or ill there is no extra charge for house calls if you are located within Central Austin. If you live out of Austin, I am now available for telephone and/or webcam consultations via google talk or Windows Live Messenger. I offer sliding scale services the 1st Tuesday of the month from 1-4. Consults and Massage are $50-70 on that day. You may go to the Consultation Link to the left of this page for regular rates.

I look at the whole body in my consultations and massages. I do not diagnose. Please come with symptoms or prior diagnoses and I will work with you to find ways for you to meet your health goals. My focus is on massage and herbalism but I also incorporate dietary, lifestyle, exercise, spiritual, and emotional ways to help you reach your health goals. I do not beleive in quick fixes or magic pills or in my case magic herbs that will suddenly cure ailments. I do believe that with hard work and commitment we can solve many health concerns in natural, non-invasive ways. I choose what herbs and bodywork is best for you based on your individual constitution. I draw from concepts in Wesern Medicine as well as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine to find something that works for you and your individual situation

I believe that most of the time our bodies are innately strong and healthy and that any herbs or bodywork I use is to help remind the body how to return to balance. It is important to note that though some doctors and other health practitioners may use herbs, that does not make there use of them holistic, or better than using meds. A holistic pracitioner, and herbalist in particular, helps you to navigate through the 100s of herbs available to you and does not nessarily choose ones with the most clinical trials, but ones that may be very obscure or local and unheard of, yet are just as potent and effcetive or even more so than what many popular market herbs do. Herbalism as a modality is just as much science as it is art, intuition, and experience. I also believe stongly in empowering and building community health by making herbs and healthcare available to everyone regardless of income or health concern.
